Since its founding the club has been involved in the local community
The Oswego Garden Club actively participates in promoting and supporting civic beauty in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This work includes:
- Planting seasonal flowers at the Lakewood Center for the Arts
- Weeding, planting and beautifying historical plots at the Oswego Pioneer Cemetery
- Creating and delivering cheerful floral arrangements to various local care facilities
- Pulling invasives and planting pollinators at Iron Mountain Park
- Picking up litter on Knaus Road as a Clackamas County Adopt-A-Road participant
- Donating annually to the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce Village Flower Baskets program
- Supporting Lake Oswego’s Meals on Wheels program
